The new online Recreation League System allows coaches, parents and players to keep track of their upcoming games, results, and standings.
Each head coach will have a unique user profile with a user name and password to log onto the system. This user profile will be created for you. You will receive an email with these instructions, your user name and your password (a random number that you can also change later).
To sign onto the system, follow the link in the email address. Use the supplied username and password. Click ‘Remember Me’ if you want your username to be automatically loaded for you.
The link to the system will also be on the WCSC web site.
Once you log in, you will come to the coach main screen.
There will be a list of games for your team. Only games played on the day you are logged in on or earlier will be visible. To see all games for your team, see the ‘List Games’ section below.
To see all the games for a division, click on the
icon next to your division. You can
then select your team from the ‘Select Teams’ list to only see your games.
Once a game has been played, it will appear on the list of ‘Actions’ on your coach home page.
If a game has been completed, but no score has been entered, either team can enter the score for the game. Click on ‘Enter Score’ next to the game, and follow the dialog that allows you to enter the score.
If the other team has already entered the score, you (or your assistant coaches) will need to confirm or challenge the score entered. If you previously challenged a score, and the other team has since corrected any error (see Edit Score below) you can then confirm the score.
If a score has been challenged by the other team, your team can change the score (if you have made a typo for example).
You can enter comments to add the following additional:
§ Referees – were there any issues with the referees – did all appear, were any late, did they call a good game, etc. Please be positive – refereeing is much more difficult than it looks, and even the top referees at world cup level know they miss calls because they are unsighted, etc.
§ Yellow and Red cards
§ Field – were there any issues with the field such as standing water, etc.
§ Equipment – were the goals, nets and flags available and in good condition
§ Top Players – who were the top players from either team

If the first coach to enter a score makes a typo (e.g. switches the scores around by mistake), the other coach can challenge the score. The first coach can then correct the score, which can then be confirmed.

If there is disagreement on the score, then the house secretary steps in. The score on the game card is the definitive score
